US calls for immediate withdrawal of Eritrean, Amhara regional forces from Tigray
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – In his first official statement since becoming the U.S. secretary of state, Antony J. Blinken called for “the immediate withdrawal of Eritrean and Amhara regional forces from Tigray,” something he sees as an essential first step to end “reported atrocities and the overall deteriorating situation in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.”
Why?
“US” in a headline gets no periods, but in the article it’s “U.S.” “USA” never gets periods.
When a title is separated by a comma, don’t capitalize, but, “It was the first official statement by U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken.”
